2021 Sparkling Malvasia Bianca, Betty's Vineyard
St. Helena, Napa Valley
After two years, our inaugural vintage of sparkling wine is here. Grown in Betty's Vineyard, this special release is 100% Malvasia Bianca grapes. Produced using the méthode traditionelle from our winery estate in Napa Valley, this single-vineyard expression is vibrant, full-bodied, and loaded with flavors of stone fruit, green apples, Meyer lemon, and freshly baked bread.
This bright, refreshing wine can be paired with a happy hour, evening event, or cheese plate.

Tasting Notes
Made in a methode-traditionnelle style, we wanted to make a great sparkling wine using Malvasia Bianca, a non traditional grape for this style of wine. Orange blossoms, green apple, apricot, peaches, and nectarine are enhanced by the creamy mouthfeel. Tiny bubbles from the extended aging has softened the tannins and balances the acid. Technically a Brut, we are thrilled with the outcome of our first Sparkling wine.
Vineyard Notes
Grown exclusively in our estate vineyard on our winery property. Betty's Vineyard has grown this unique Italian varietal for 20+ years. As one of the only growers in Napa , we wanted to show the special characteristics of the Malvasia Bianca. Although a rare varietal in Napa, this grape belongs in the soil it is planted.
Winemaker Notes
Our first authentic sparkling wine. A project started for the staff several years ago, our assistant winemaker saw some potential in what we first made. 2+ years later, after learning a whole new winemaking process, we are proud of our first release.
