Last year, this wine was voted a Smart Buy by Wine Spectator. When crafting this wine, we look for flavors of blueberry and raspberry syrup in the Zinfandel grapes to indicate ripeness. This vintage is exceptionally floral and jammy with classic flavors of black cherry, clove, and fresh rose petals. It is simply delicious.

Our Zinfandel Port isn't made very often. We make a small selection of Zinfandel Port on occassion and keep it secret. Known to age and have extended drinking time once opened, don't be afraid to take a nip tonight and save the rest for another day.
Primarily coming from our warmest vineyard in Calistoga, this vintage is rich and full bodied. Crisp citrus peel and brandied cherry hit the nose, while the mid-palate highlights ripe dark plums and blackberry compote, hints of clove and creamy spiced chocolate. This wine finishes with bourbon barrels. Perfect for a whiskey fan.
