The wine has a lovely complexity and roundness which reminds us of both blackberry pie and being in a forest. The palate of the wine is silky smooth, with diverse hints of aroma of cola, black tea, cranberry, and tobacco. This wine opens up as you drink it and this is an indication that the wine is built to age.

This luscious wine starts with hints of citrus and green apple and finishes with crème brule. The palate is rich and full with flavors of poached pear, caramel and butterscotch. The long finish has great balance. Perfect with lobster and Dungeness crab and on its own to share with a good friend.
